Jorge Batista: Permanent contract at Royal Kaak in Terborg!

Time for a great success story: Jorge has received a permanent contract at Royal Kaak!

It’s now been 2.5 years since Rein first spoke to Jorge via LinkedIn. He was introduced to Royal Kaak, and after a few interviews, the international process began. Since Jorge is from Brazil, the process was a bit more extensive than usual. It was also super interesting and educational for us to be involved.

Housing & Learning Dutch

After a few weeks in the Netherlands, Jorge found his own place to live at a nice distance from Terborg. Although finding housing was certainly not easy, it fortunately went pretty quickly! Not long after, his wife and young son also moved to the Netherlands. Now, they are all working hard to master the Dutch language: his wife is attending a 2-year language study, and his 5-year-old son is already almost fluent in Dutch because he speaks it with his classmates.

Project Manager at Royal Kaak

Jorge started 2 years ago as a Project Manager at Royal Kaak, a position he had also held with various employers in Brazil. He began with a few small projects, and now he manages no less than 8 projects simultaneously. He works with clients from all over the world: France, Portugal, Canada, Brazil, Israel and Turkey. His fluency in Portuguese and Spanish is certainly a plus with some clients. His role also involves some travel, about 10-20% of the time at present.
